While most sneaker news surrounding the Paris Olympics has taken place on international hardwood, like Jayson Tatum officially unveiling the Jordan Tatum 3 the other day, there have also been some off-the-court developments worth some shine. In his free time, Devin Booker has been documenting his adventures around Paris with a vintage camcorder, making appearances at other Olympic events and providing a glimpse at his upcoming Nike Blazer Low collaboration in the process.
Attached below is an image of Book with Japanese skateboarder Ginwoo Onodera taken during the Olympic Skateboarding Street Competition. Here we get a clear look at the Devin Booker x Blazer Low, which appears to be composed of a pine green hairy suede upper and gum soles. Additionally, upon close inspection, the tongue insignia looks awfully similar to the Chevrolet logo. Devin Booker’s love for classic cars is well documented; the Phoenix Suns star regularly pulls up to games in his 1959 Chevy Impala lovingly nicknamed “Pretty Penny.” Perhaps his Blazer Low alludes to that passion in some way, but we’ll need more context and detailed images to say for sure. The shoes are also featured in the first few seconds of a Instagram video Book posted after the event, as seen further down the page.
The green Blazer Booker has been wearing in Paris is one of two colorways scheduled to release Summer 2025 alongside a yet-to-be-seen blue pair. Notably, Book is also giving away pairs of the Nike Book 1 to fans throughout Paris, stoking energy around both his lifestyle and performance-focused footwear with Nike.
