Nike SB has such a rich history of standout Halloween Dunks — the “Mummy,” the “Night of Mischief,” the infamous “Freddy Krueger” from 2007’s “Horror Pack”… the list goes on. In 2022, Nike SB broke from its norm by linking with an outside party for its premier Halloween shoe, tapping California-based graffiti artist Neckface, who had previously collaborated on the SB Blazer Mid back in 2013.

With Halloween on the horizon, Neckface took to IG to share some early samples of his Nike SB Dunk. As you can tell, he pretty much nailed it on the first try.

Most of the signature details – ghouls, tombstones, skulls, demons, and snakes — were in place from the beginning. The most noticeable change actually comes on the midsole. Early samples experimented with distressed finishes and green tape, while the released version dialed things back slightly with black tape.
