Fresh off being profiled by GQ for its “Men of the Year” feature, Giannis Antetokounmpo and his Milwaukee Bucks squad haven’t yet found their footing in the 2021-22 NBA season. The 26-year-old, however, is moving forward with his Nike Zoom Freak 3 signature sneaker, outfitting it in a winter-ready “White/Black/Copa” colorway.
Akin to past releases, the newly-surfaced pair features a durable textile construction throughout the upper. Velcro-assisted lockdown straps run horizontally right above the vamp, blending in with its “colorless” surroundings. Playful flair, however, arrives at the mesh paneling found around the collar, ostensibly a nod to the geometric shapes found on snowflakes when zoomed into; “The Greek Freak”‘s logo on the top of the tongue indulges in the titular light blue tone, which evokes the image of snowflakes, too. Elsewhere, a white speckling covers the length of the black midsole, coupling with the icy hue that animates the fragmented tread underfoot in rounding out the seemingly-thematic Zoom Freak 3.
Enjoy official images of the pair here below, and anticipate a Nike.com launch come November 19th.
