On the eve of the Air Jordan 1 “Patent Bred”‘s release date, the Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT has appeared in a “Satin Snake”-reminiscent colorway, complete with patent leather paneling across the upper.
Akin to the aforementioned women’s offering from August 2020, the newly-surfaced pair indulges in a mix of white and black throughout its base layer, with the toe box and lower heel overlay deviating in pitch-dark tones. Mid-foot construction also divvies up the “yin-and-yang” color combination, with cut-out profile swooshes opting for the darker of the two hues; tongues and panels underneath the ankle flaps also follow suit. The Air Jordan 1‘s most vibrant tone, then, appears around the forefoot, along the tongue and at the ankles – entirely in a patent finish. As with a handful of Nike Sportswear options that’ve emerged in the last few months, the retro’s midsoles feature a slightly-yellow tint, which delivers a “Neo-vintage” aesthetic popular among countless consumers. Lastly, Zoom Air-cushioning and exposed foam at the collar and inner lining work in-tandem to create what many argue is the most comfortable Air Jordan option of all-time.
No firm release details are currently known, but this pair is likely to hit Nike SNKRS in the first-half of the new year. In the meantime, enjoy early images of the shoes ahead.
