Over the last decade, the Air Jordan 1 Mid has gone from being almost exclusively ridiculed to helping Michael Jordan’s first signature sneaker design become one of the most covetable ones on the market. Although savvy and casual consumers alike gravitate towards original-reminiscent colorways, they’ve also come to enjoy some of the mid-top model’s experimental offerings.
Recently, the silhouette emerged in yet another multi-color mix. Cream-colored layers emerge via both the tongue and the mid-foot components, while accompanying panels and details indulge in a disparate roster of hues. Deep green and golden yellow take over the overlays along the Air Jordan 1-variant’s tongue, while ankle areas opt for a “patriotic” red, white and blue makeover. Toe boxes and profile swooshes introduce a spring-friendly crimson, allowing the strip around the forefoot to leave its mark in a navy tone. Lastly, the Jumpman-branded retro features a white midsole, navy outsole combination across its Nike Dunk-reminiscent sole unit, rounding out the multi-colored look perfect for spring.
