This Nike Blazer Mid ’77, despite surfacing first in GS sizes, is as mature as adult pairs, seldom delving into vibrant, neon colors. And if we’re lucky, we’ll likely see its see-through Swoosh atop a full family run.
Similar to previously-released colorways, the base proffers a leather and suede build, both of which are dyed their typical neutrals. White dresses through the eye stays and profile, while hits of grey wrap the forefoot; below, the sole, too, is bereft of color, though its texture makes up for the simplicity as per usual. The Swoosh, moreover, is a stark departure from the formula, its translucent TPU tinted “Volt” like the instance across the tongue label. Behind, the heel tab is similarly unique, as it covers its cool tone with a sheer netting. Additional hits of red and blue are then applied to the lining and top two eyelets, respectively.
