Nike has spent the better part of 2022 expanding the Air Force 1‘s horizons, infusing the silhouette’s DNA with influences from around the globe. Its latest colorway is similarly well-traveled, fresh off a trip to San Francisco’s very own Chinatown.
The Nike Air Force 1 “San Francisco Chinatown” begins with a white leather base, which features a debossed image of a lotus flower around the heel. This motif appears atop both the tongue label and sockliner as well, paired alongside gilded Chinese characters and Swooshes. Behind, the Nike Air logo employs both gold and pink, the latter of which also blooms along the gradients of the Swoosh, the midsole, and the aforementioned label.
