The Nike Air Max TW hasn’t experienced the same level of popularity as other visible Air-cushioned silhouettes, but it continues to find its footing with the help of compelling styles.
Recently, the retro-inspired silhouette emerged in a fresh mix of white, black, and teal, creating an ensemble reminiscent of the Seattle Mariners-appropriate Air Griffey Max 1 from 1996. Mesh construction throughout most of the forefoot and mid-foot take on greenish flair, with structural components around the heel following suit. Branding throughout the Air Max proposition also takes on the sneaker’s titular teal hue, bringing the 90s to the modern era in the process. Underfoot, most of the sole unit favors a boring white and black color combination, although traction zones at the ball of the foot bring some of the upper’s greenish personality to the tooling.
