Matt Varga The New York Liberty brought home their first-ever WNBA championship, capping a banner year for the women’s game that saw the NCAAW title game surpass the men’s and ushered in the most-watched WNBA season in its history. The Jordan Heir, Jordan Brand’s embrace of the women’s game, just dropped — a total press effort out of Beaverton highlights what makes this model so pivotal.
Jordan Brand signees in the women’s game contributed heavily to both the design and the performance tech that the Heir sports, focusing on a low-to-the-ground composition that allowed for shifty play. Herringbone traction underfoot is the foremost aspect that allows for that, but the cut-out TPU cage that encircles the whole shoe ensures lockdown along the way.
The Jumpman team cites the Atlanta Dream’s Rhyne Howard and Jordin Canada, the LA Sparks’ Kia Nurse and Dearica Hamby, and the UCLA Bruins’ Kiki Rice as critical contributors in the process. Of the impending launch, Rhyne Howard shared:

The Jordan Heir is now available via Nike.com in the “Her Collective” and “Peach Jam” colorways, each arriving in unisex sizing and retailing at $110.
