Kicking off this week’s Sneaker News Weekly Rewind is a look at the Dave White x Air Jordan 1, the second Dave White x Jordan Brand collaboration of the year, and the Air Jordan XIV ‘Last Shot’, set for a Holiday 2011 release. Nike LeBron news kept us busy as well, as we got a look at two new unreleased special editions of the LeBron 8, and we also got a look at two new Kobe VI colorways. Paul Rodriguez, Nike SB’s marquee athlete, was up on the news wire as well, as his fifth signature shoe hit Nike iD. Going back to Nike Retros, we got a detailed look at two new Total Foamposite Max colorways and the Air Max 1 ‘Aztec Pack’.
Moving on to people actually wearing sneakers…Drake, Carmelo Anthony, Wale, Kanye West, and Jay-Z were all featured in this week’s Celebrity Feet feature, but a Celebrity Footwear ‘Fail’ list brought a few extra laughs. It’s not often we get to see rare Air Jordan samples, so this week Sneaker News treated you with the Air Jordan XI Space Jam ’45’ Sample that Michael wore in Game 4 of the ’95 Playoff series against the Magic. Sneaker Con wrapped up a two-day event in Washington D.C. and we brought you a great recap of the weekend’s events, which featured a ton of ‘Feet’. The Sneaker News Battle of the Customs showcased the 10 best Air Jordan Retro Customs, with a voting feature at the very end. There’s plenty more from this week so check out the rest of the Sneaker News Weekly Rewind after the jump.
