New Balance 574 Customization Launch @ The New Balance Experience Store – Event Recap

The custom New Balance 574 experience is one that’s been growing steadily ever since the NB team first launched the platform. As of now, they’re beginning to offer the opportunity to purchase a custom pair at select retail spots. First it was their Foot Locker Times Square kiosk. Next up is the New Balance Experience shop in New York City. Last night that locale played host to a launch event of sorts, one which featured a set from lauded NB collector DJ Mars, some previews of upcoming goodies, and some giveaways for the lucky attendees. Keep in mind the in store customization takes places via a couple different avenues: you can either have your way with all the colors and materials available at one of the stations and have it shipped to you at a later date or you can choose from a range of pre-built colorways and watch them get made on the spot.
