All eyes are on this week’s first official release of Virgil Abloh’s collaboration with Nike dubbed “The Ten”. The shoes are releasing exclusively in NYC through the Draw, with a wider release set to go down in November. This partnership has earned the spotlight for good reason as Virgil’s vision for these ten models has redefined what it means to truly collaborate with a brand and create something unique, but we can only help but ponder what the outcome would’ve been if Virgil chose to work with Nike’s most dangerous rival.
Created by graphic artist CORBS, this OFF WHITE x adidas Ultra Boost concept features the same signature detailing from “The Ten” such as the shoe details in quotes, the zip-tie, the exposed stitching and orange tape, and the overall chaotic aesthetic of the shoes. Would you cop an OFF WHITE x adidas Ultra Boost? It’ll never happen, but at least you have a strong sense of what it would look like.
