The Nike Shox TL is a retro running sneaker from 2003; the second Shox runner ever behind the Shox 4. Several retro stints have occurred since the model’s inception, the most recent of which began in 2023 and is still riding strong. The sneaker industry as a whole has been intent on pushing Y2K fashion, and Shox footwear epitomizes the era’s design language to a tee. The Shox TL (aka Shox “Total”) was the first model to feature full-length Shox cushioning, paired with a synthetic mesh/TPU upper.
