With the snowboarding season fast approaching, Nike has officially launched Nike Snowboarding after we first reported on Nike’s entry into the snowboarding business back in January. Their entry boot is actually a remodeled Nike Air Force 1. While a strange trend a few years ago, where people wore their snowboarding gear onto the streets, the trend may come back with these Air Force 1 like snowboarding boots. One of the models included the infamous nozzle head pattern designed by Stash so we can assume that it is a collaboration boot with Stash. There is also a matching jacket in the same pattern. Air Force Uggs?!?! This is a no go…now maybe if I lived in Alaska….
Well..I do like the the way Nike used the AF I as the inspiration(and the upper)and, the colorways are real clean on these hidious looking boots..but for people in NYC…well..the city speaks for itself…and I think it would say…”it doesn’t get that bad in the winter for the folks in NY to even need these so WTF?!?!”…
1 * and a 1/2 out of 5…and the 1/2 * is stretching it quite a bit.

^…They are snowboarding boots, not boots to go walk around New York in.
September 24th, 2008 at 4:37 pm
THEY ARE TOYS! dont get yourself worked up over nothing!

Haze - I don’t know if you actually read the article, but these aren’t some new Nike hybrid. They’re boarding boots, not meant to walk around the city in… if you’ve ever worn boarding boots before you know that they aren’t comfy to be doing anything other than boarding in.
So with that in mind, they’re pretty sweet, although I’d like to see a dunk-inspired boot. it’ll be interesting to see if they’re all looks and no performance, or if they actually hold up on the hill.

Its a snowboarding boot genius, not a walking boot.

These are snowboarding boots, not uggs. I don’t think folks in NYC would walk around wearing snowboarding shoes. I mean I’ve seen some gaudy outfits around here but I’m sure they’ll keep these strictly for the slopes.
. . . . but then again you never know.

they are snowboarding boots dummy. thats the way they look. they aren’t meant to be rocked every day like uggs or something like that.

THESE ARE FOR SNOWBOARDING. NOT WEARING AROUND. Get your facts straight, because these would be fire up on the mountain. stfu if you dont know what you are talking about

A** holes…maybe you’ve never been to NYC…it a place of weird fasion..PEOPLE WILL ROCK THESE AND THINK NOTHING OF IT!!!..AND THEY WILL HAVE FOLLOWERS…it only takes one a** hole to rock ‘em and the whole hood will follow…then you’ll have a bunch of a** holes…looking stupid, wearing these hidious monstrocities…That’s what I was saying to the A** HOLES WHO COMMENTED ON ME INSTEAD OF THIS AF I X UGG X…whatever the fu*k you wanna’ call this. To my fans on this comment post…cop these…hit the slopes…get the right ammount of speed…go through the saloms and the trees…do a ‘lil freestyle..and take a flying leap over a moutain..miss your peak..and instead of getting to the other side of that hill..fall into a ditch with your snowboarding NUGGS.
p.s….if you’ve never been to NYC..please…SHUT THE FU*K UP…and learn URBAN FASHION you fu*kin’ hillbillies…smh.

This is ridiculous, with having the new york fashion in mind, not one person would “rock” these boots because they are not made for walking, if you tried walking with them on, you would look like a retarded robot. Aside from the fashion point, nike’s probably gonna start killing it with new boarding gear, but unfortunately its bringing corporations into snowboarding, just how skateboarding’s well on its way to be, its all going to turn into a rat race.

LMAO, Haze you have to admit you didn’t know they were snowboard boots. And to say people in NYC would rock these is an insult to the NY people. The boots don’t even bend. You have obviously never worn a pair before. But in your defense it wasn’t horrible assumption.

Where can i buy a pair of these nike snowboard boots???
January 18th, 2009 at 6:09 pm
n.y,chicago, denver, whatever, wherever wear’em!probably hella comfy compared to 32’s recycled ice chest foam liners and if you want snow boots for your urban assaulting try waxing up some new high top sb’s and using a snow skate. If dk can rock’em,you can roll’em.plus a steezy power strap for you speed demons in the cities.
