We are searching for motivated individuals with great writing skills. Ideal candidates will not only be passionate about sneakers, but about engaging the digital community on Twitter, Facebook, and other emerging social media platforms.

DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Edit blog-posts on the latest and upcoming happenings in a deadline-oriented fashion
  • Create newsworthy headlines that can be “shareable” to the general audience
  • Assist editorial team on daily assignments
  • Keep up to date on latest releases and key footwear retailers
  • Fact/info checking

QUALIFICATIONS

  • College-level writing ability
  • Beginner/Intermediate proficiency with Photoshop (photo cropping/editing)
  • Experience with Wordpress a plus
  • Professional/personal blogging experience a plus
  • Attention to detail
  • Thorough knowledge of sneakers from a wide variety of brands
  • A keen scope of the footwear industry as a whole
  • Ability to work in the SneakerNews.com office (Manhattan)

  • Shape every-day sneaker content into mainstream "OMG" moments
