Air Jordan 4 Black Cat History
The Black Cat 4s first launched in 2006; it was the first-ever all-black colorway of the Air Jordan 4 and was given that specific nickname as a nod to Michael Jordan’s animalistic alter ego. Not a trace of another color was on the shoe, which at the time was quite uncommon for Jordan Retro footwear. In 2020, Jordan Brand brought back the Black Cat 4s back into the Retro circuit to much fanfare; pairs today command close to $1,000.
