Nike Air Penny II Retro - White-Varsity Blue-Black + Black-Varsity Blue-White

Previously released over a decade ago, 12 years to be exact, the Nike Air Penny II is back for the first time since its original run.  The sneaker will release in a black and a white colorway, with the black version being released earlier than its scheduled October drop.  It will now release this Saturday, September 27th.  The white version, worn by Hardaway in the 1997 NBA All-Star Game, is scheduled to release this coming November.  Both sneakers feature Hardaway’s Orlando Magic colors of blue, white, and black, while the white-based sneaker features a Penny logo on the ankle, and a swoosh on the heel.  The black-based shoe contains the opposite.  As far as the mechanics of the shoe, both feature Nike Air technology in the heel and forefoot, complemented by a carbon fiber shank at midfoot, for arch support.  The sneakers will be available at Footlocker stores nationwide, for a retail price of $140.
