Clarks Originals – Akasha Wallabee – Quilted Wallabees – Upcoming Releases

Twenty bucks says if you’re interested in sneakers, you also own at least one pair of Wallabees.  Hey, even a sneakerhead’s gotta dress up every now and again.

Clarks’ signature model has been the same as long as I can remember — suede or leather in a low or mid chukka.  They recently released shinier and more colorful models, but they’ve not tampered with much save the hues.  Looks like that’s all changing with the Akasha edition Wallabee for Clarks Originals‘ fall/winter line.

The Akasha Wallabees feature quilted uppers stiched with tonal thread and a contrasting ankle, toebox threading and sole-heel.  There’s a chocolate brown model with sky blue contrasts, and the red and black models each have white contrasts.  Each one of the three makes your author’s mouth water 😀

We haven’t seen a release date, but we suspect they’ll drop in time for the holidays around the magical $100 mark.  Pics of all colors and some nice closeups after the jump.  Good work, HB.
