Way back in August when Nike Sportswear was opening in New York City, we showed you what were available at the store. The Air Force 1s representing the New York Yankees, Knicks and Jets were on display when the store opened, were available to New York sports fans. The other night, at the Nike Playmakers event, we spotted the same New York sports teams inspired Air Force 1s in the collection of DJ Clark Kent, and if you didn’t know already, designed by DJ Clark Kent as well.
At the event, we were able to get a closer look at the samples which features variations of the street address of Nike Sportswear in New York, “21 Mercer”. Of course, the three AF1s representing the Knicks’, Yankees’ and Jets’ colorways were present. There was even an AF1 that featured all three of the teams’ colorways for the ultimate New York Sports fans. Along with most of the sneakers on display at the event, these four were 1 of 1 samples that will never be available to the general public.

nobody seems to notice that the second ones from the right are a never seen before colorway. the other 3 came out just without the “21 mercer” hit. The second one from the right seems to be one that Clark and Packer hinted to me about as having “all 3 team colors mixed into 1 shoe”. I wish there were better pics of this one in particular cuz I always wanted to see how they pulled that one off.
Also notable is the FT Group tags, as FT hardly ever produces AF1’s outside of samples. For those who own these, check your tongue tags – FT factory code. Very rare.
