When you consider the possibility of a hybrid combining Nike’s iconic Dunk and Air Max 95 models, what comes to mind? If you’re anything like your author, chances are you cringed and expressed a confused look. As it turns out, the idea is executed very smoothly in the new Nike Vunk hybrid for kids. Appearing in three colours including the classic neon green, a red and black pair and one more very colourful edition, this shoe mixes the AM95s layered upper with the Dunk’s toebox, sole and heel tab. There’s no visible Air here, but we all know how comfy the old school Dunk sole is. No specifics on an exact release date yet but they are scheduled for sometime in October 2009, so keep it locked to Sneaker News and we’ll keep you in the loop. Thanks to R-Squared for the photos!
