It looks like the Vans Vault Eco Pack has a new member. Along with the pack’s signature tree instead of the ‘A’ in the Vans logo, this Chukka Boot LX features the same earthy vibe and earth-friendly materials as its siblings. These joings have a mix of cobbled woven fabrics: black on the toe and tongue and brown on the side panel and heel. They come with black and white laces, both of which compliment Off the Wall’s signature striped vulcanized rubber sole. You can cop these now at ripe.

@ecocentrics
Indeed. Vans says the uppers are made of recyclable, renewable materials, as are the boxes:

I was wondering whether any one knew what fabric they are made out of? As I’m doing a project for school about eco friendly schools and I have to design things like this so need to know what looks good but is good for the eviroment.
