New Zoom Kobe IV colorways seem to be emerging every day lately, and now images have just popped up of a very special edition of the shoe that unfortunately does not look like it will be released. This pair honors Kobe’s amazing year, in which he won a gold medal with the U.S. Olympic team and then his fourth NBA Championship. These kicks pay tribute with a color scheme that ties in both the Lakers and Olympic color schemes. Additional touches such as snakeskin graphics and an actual Black Mamba illustration make this one of the most intricate and unique Zoom Kobe IV colorways yet. As a cherry on top, the two insoles each pay respects to one of Kobe’s two respective achievements. As of now, it looks like these will never make it past the promo sample stage, but we’ll let you know if anything changes. For now, you can check out a bunch of great pics after the jump.
