Taka Hayashi’s recent work for Vans showed that a Native American-inspired sneaker can be subtle and mature. With this ‘Fringe Pack’ of Sk8-His, Off the Wall is pretty much just going with the most obvious stuff. Remarkably similar to Japanese trendsetters Visvim’s FBT boots, these come in either black or tan suede with a tassled collar attachment held on with a beaded lace. Rugged stitching brings the toebox together and forms Vans’ signature stripe. Amazingly obvious for how ‘out-there’ this design is relative to most of the current sneaker scene, these are still quite dope and currently available at ABC-Mart.
