Today, Sneaker News and the rest of the Zoom Kobe V global media event crew got a chance to visit the Montalban Theatre in Los Angeles for a very special introduction to the Zoom Kobe V iD. The theater was set up with several screens displaying all of the different, color, material and graphic options for the shoe, as an iD specialist walked us through some of the key points and finer details. After the presentation, we were let loose on some iD computer stations, where we were able to explore the possibilities offered by the Zoom Kobe V iD first hand. Starting tomorrow, the shoe will be up on Nike iD with options to build and share your design, but the shoe will not actually be available for purchase until Christmas Day, December 25th. Keep reading for a look at some pics of the theater, the presentation and of course some samples of the Zoom Kobe V iD.

The design is obviously not as revolutionary as last years, but those texture patterns are nuts. With the way things are going for Nike Basketball and Jordan, plus all the dope retros and collabs, this is starting to feel like a second Golden Age

The reason they look like track shoes is that basketball deals with speed and forward motion so its a meshing of the Basketball and track concept. Also its a sleek snake like design shape (i.e. the name black mamba). But iu do think its a wack looking shoe though.
