The Nike Blazer is an icon of 20th century design, a sneaker among the handful of looks you could say truly defined an entire era. These three new Blazers aren’t your typical pack of sneakers, though it’s clear they share a common bond. It’s not a palette or colorblocking pattern, but rather the curiously embroidered tongue tags. One of them reads ‘Nike Sportswear’. Another, ‘Nike Force’, which makes sense if it’s a tad misplaced. But the last one, ‘Nike I95 DMV NY’ is a callout to the highway that connects the eastern seaboard, and leaves us guessing what the inspiration for this trio may have been. No matter the muse, they’re set to release next month and you can pre-order yours now from CrookedTongues.

The colors and text placement is a throwback nod to the old Nike "Robinson's Neighborhood" commercials…especially the Force model.
