Mayor is the undisputed king of Nike Air Force 1s, but he took it to a new level with his latest AF1 Bespoke. Utilizing a rubberized leather that looks somewhat similar to the materials used on the Air Force 1 TecTuff Pack, Mayor made these Bespokes all-yellow, cos “the color freaked [him] out when [he] first saw it.” It’s a startling shade, indeed, a brighter-than-mustard look that’s enhanced by a buttery soft brown base layer on the side panel Swooshes. That same leather is found on the insole and in perforated form on the premium sockliner. But that’s not the only luxe touch here, with both the dubraes and heel tabs featuring Mayor’s own graffiti-style logo to finish off the 1-of-1. NO!!! you have a gr in basic yellow leather. if you read and watch the video the materials on this bespoke are straight fire. A rubberized AF1 , fresh and crispy in time for the winter months, and how could you compare the regular cloth sock liner on your wbf's to the supple leather on his bespoke. Don't get me wrong the WBF china's look good, but you can not compare that shoe to this one and in the same breath make any claims that they are the same.

People with money, spend money on finer things. This is like saying a Louis V carrier bag is the equivalent to a $50 one you can find at the mall or something.
It does the same thing, but people with money rather have the quality and brand…and get what the general public can't afford or can get.

Mayor is a loser. Think about this logically, people. Most people who are sneakerheads, who had the opportunity would buy one bespoke, and leave it at that. But this guy seems to drop 800 dollars on Bespokes every week or two at LEAST. We're not talking about some famous rapper with no kids, and no real responsibilities, and an income that puts some rock bands to shame. Mayor is an average dude. He says so himself in his videos. He has kids, and he has a lady, and he just drops 800 bucks on shoes every week? That sounds pretty damn irresponsible, and idiotic. i don't care how much money you have. I understand the feeling of splurging. In my heyday I would drop $800 every quarter for everything from AF1s to Jordans to AM90s. Then the bills come in and what then?
$800/week is like $41,600 a year. Even if he's dropping $30k a year, that's $30k less when he's coming up to retirement age. Those kicks ain't gonna pay for his insulin and co-pays if he keeps on gaining weight and acquires Type-2 Diabetes.
Young Man made a good point. $800 could go to feed his kids, clothe them and still have change left over to buy a GR AF1 every month. 12 kicks a year? Sounds good to me.

Chris H I can see your point fam and trust me I hate excessive spluging just the same but we would never know how much of this ACTUALLY comes out of his pocket on these kicks. I am playing devils advocate here so trust I understand your point but what if for a long time Mayor paid for kicks and eventually got connected with the right people that make his habit seem excessive but he may only be spending a very small fraction of what we believe. Mayor is free publicity for Nike. He may get paid/givin free shit to create a reaction but behind the scenes they are watching how we react to the samples/bespoke and creating styles off of it to make more money. Its simply market research. If he is STILL paying retail then he is stupid. Lol. But what if he pays cost or a little above cost? Now his spending drops considerably. AF1's cost what 4 bucks to make? So one a week for 52 weeks is what 208.00 bucks a year. Now that 52 pairs for the price of a Foamposite. I think we would all do a bespoke a week if we paid cost. Lol. But I do understand chances are he is still a customer for the most part and that is sad.
