Dwayne Wade fans had cause to rejoice this past April, as the Heat superstar finally released his long overdue signature shoe with Jordan Brand, the Jordan Fly Wade, all while making a bid at another championship to add to his resume. While the championship eluded him, it’s safe to say the sneakers were a success, and we’re being treated to a new ‘South Beach’ like colorway of the Jordan Fly Wade in July. You might call it a copycat colorway but let’s be honest, Wade has been doing his thing in Miami long before LeBron, so he should certainly be allowed to rep the flashy blue/black/pink combo that seems to be everywhere nowadays. Hit the jump for a full look at this July 7th release and let us know in the comments how they measure up to LeBron’s South Beaches.

The Air 180 was initially released in 1991 and the ‘Ultramarine’ colorway from that year remains the model’s most popular look. That OG style found its way to Nike Sportswear retailers last year with a LunarLon forefoot cushioning upgrade plus Torch mesh on the uppers, and this latest release is sure to draw comparisons. The Nike Lunar Air 180s pictured above could be an ‘un-Ultramarine’ thanks to the use of a black base instead of white for Alarming Red and Blue Spark accents. This model is one that’s been teased for quite a while and frankly, we expected to see them sooner, but getting a look might be tough as they’re a (UK?) Foot Locker exclusive.

Usually any incarnation of the Air Jordan XI is an instant sell-out, generally hitting around the holiday season and stirring up chaos at retailers nationwide. The real test of OG appreciation though comes with the Air Jordan XI IE Low, which is a bit of a sleeper when compared to its patent leather bigger brother. The unique upper of the Air Jordan XI IE Low takes a big departure from the original Air Jordan XI, coming wrapped in layers of textured leather. The sole kit remains familiar, albeit with a smoked out translucent black look in place of the traditional icy bottoms. It’s been a while since we were treated to an Air Jordan XI IE Low release, so be prepared to snap these up as they don’t come around often. These are scheduled to arrive at Jordan Brand retailers on July 16th, so hit the jump for some more pics if you’re still on the fence for this upcoming release. And if you need your pair early, you can find a few pairs available right now on eBay.

The second iteration of Nike Training’s modern Huarache series just released about a week ago, but even with all the technological advances the Swoosh has made over the past two decades, you still can’t go wrong with the originator. Check out this new colorway of the Nike Air Trainer Huarache, a black nubuck design with red and white accents you might have expected to see Michael Jordan wearing during his early-’90s offseason training. These joints should hit US Nike Sportswear accounts shortly and you can see more images when you click on the jump below. via LTD

Should we consider this latest preview as some additional light shed on that mysterious preview Undefeated issued back in May? It’s been nearly two months since UNDFTD showed a macro shot of a tumbled leather and ballistic nylon design that judging by the pictures above, very well could be the Undefeated x Converse One Star Academy. This blue/black model is a lowtop where the others appeared to be a mid/high, but their use of nylon eye-plackets is similar, as is the application of a super-premium deerskin leather on the upper. The fourth installment in LeBron James’ Ambassador series is set to release this holiday season as the first to integrate Nike’s Flywire technology into the uppers. But it’s clear from these new images that wasn’t always going to be the case, as it’s very possible the Nike LeBron Ambassador III could have claimed that title, these samples from last year’s model showing how an alternate design had their eyelet wings crafted from Flywire-embedded TPU. It gives them a slightly more technical feel compared to the released model whose intricate pattern was more for style than function. Click through for closeups of two pairs, let us know how these compare to the ‘real’ Ambassador 3s and stick with Sneaker News for more rare finds. via hkkicks

Another day, another ‘color’ pack from Supra. The crown brand started this trend when a series of holiday-themed releases led to the equally well-timed ‘Black & Yellow’ collection in honor of the Boston Bruins’ Stanley Cup victory. That pack begat the ‘Black & Green’ joints we most recently showed you, and now three other models are united by a single colorway. The Supra Taupe Pack applies its namesake shade to the suede uppers of the Supra Skylow, Society Mid and Cuban, each of which adds an aqua terrycloth lining and white vulcanized sole. Click through to see all three pairs in more detail and look for these at select Supra stockists including their e-store.

Various eye-catching aquatic shades have been central to the Ken Griffey’s Nike Training signature series since its inception with the Air Diamond Fury in 1995, this latest release among the purest blues from that category. The Nike Air Griffey Max II doesn’t match any of Junior’s MLB uniforms, but its mix of white leather with black and Photo Blue accents makes for a great summertime sneaker and one of the best white releases in the entire Nike Griffey lineage. Click through to see more angles and look for these now at NSW retailers like CitySole or get your pair on eBay.

We’re just about ready for another flip of the calendar, which means a brand new shipment of Nike SB sneakers is starting to hit select retailers around the world. Key among these is the second standout red and white Nike SB Dunk Mid released this year, though they’re about as dissimilar from the first as you could get within those bounds. Whereas the earlier pair featured Brickhouse suede with a white leather Swoosh, these are basically the complete opposite plus some black accents that give these a classic ’80s basketball feel. They’re also like a simplified take on last year’s ‘Ryu’ Mids or perhaps Todd Bratrud’s ‘Cheech & Chong’ Dunk SB design, so if you’re missed out on either of those and/or find yourself looking for a no-nonsense skate shoe with perfect summer style, grab a pair today from SB stores like MIA.
