Vans is most commonly associated with skateboarding, but Off the Wall has outfitted its share of BMX riders, surfers and other action sports athletes over the years. And as the brand’s unique take on California cool has become something of a lifestyle default, they’ve expanded into a variety of themed releases, several of which have offered rugged, outdoorsy themes. The same is true to the letter with the Vans ‘Outdoor Pack’, a trio of lesser-seen models done in muted earthy suedes with ticked laces that includes the Dos Crypt lowtop, Atwood Mid chukka and a strapped version of the Owens Hi.
