Are we looking at this generation’s Air Magma? The Nike ACG Zoom Meriwether certainly hearkens back to one of All Conditions Gear’s all-timers thanks to a sueded upper devoid of extraneous stitching and additions, though these three colorways have been cast in velvety nubuck and smooth leather rather than the Magma’s signature ultra-nappy suede. And while there’s no denying the Magma’s classic status, the Zoom Meriwether makes a compelling argument to be the leader of the new school, a medial zipper adding a little extra punch in addition to the new colorblocking options afforded by that area’s leather wraparound and the beefy TrailFrame sole.
