Nike Air Vortex VNTG – Granite – Imperial Blue – Black

It’s not a matter of serious contention like the replacement of original materials or color shades on Air Jordan Retros, but Nike Sportswear’s Vintage treatment does indeed provoke quite a bit of discussion amongst collectors. Sneakerheads either love or hate the pre-yellowed look, but given their main ‘con’ seems to be the inconsistent shading along the soles, this new Nike Air Vortex VNTG might be just the thing to bridge that gap. This new pair has a geniunely aged look thanks to a more even application of the oxidated look along their midsole, this Granite, Imperial Blue and Black combo the type of thing that could very easily have released back in 1985 or any year in between.
