After a burst of releases at the beginning of the year and another smaller set a month or so ago, the Nike Air Vortex has been just about silent. Will Nike Sportswear extend its V-Series retros and/or the upgraded hybrid models into 2012? Finally we can know the answer is yes, thanks to this new pair of VNTG Air Vortexes, another one of those cases where the pre-yellowed sole looks natural and really adds to the shoe’s overall appeal. It looks great with the Anthracite suede upper and its orange accents, all of which comes together to create a classic look that experienced sneakerheads will instantly recognize as a historical anomoly and something that must have been done on a recent retro.
