Nike LeBron 9 ‘South Beach’ Customs by Da Prince
December 27th, 2011 by Brendan Dunne | 22 comments

Undoubtedly one of the most popular choices for custom creations in recent memory, the ‘South Beach’ palette has found its way on to a pretty big range of sneakers since the original LeBron 8 colorway had sneakerheads in a frenzy. We’ve seen a couple of Jordan silhouettes take the look, and it’s even been extended to other iterations in the LeBron line. And with lead designer Jason Petrie pretty much confirming that the high energy colorway wouldn’t be returning for LeBron’s latest, customizer Da Prince took it upon himself to prove Petrie wrong with these custom creations. The look stays true to the Miami inspiration, with the unmistakable tone of the uppers and the popping pink laces. Hit the jump for a detailed look at the Nike LeBron 9 ‘South Beach’ customs from paintorthread, and if you’re still looking for the originals, there are a few floating around on eBay.

yo those are my shoes @joeyt5 they are dope cunts
LET THE SB COLORWAY GO!!!!!!
Please dont make these again NIke, it is the worst cw ever. Dont ruin the 9 with that kid hype like you did with the 8.
laughable
epic FAIL...please stop with the South Beach colorways already!
Sorry, but the paint job on this pair is horrible.
Hideous.
And we have another South Beach colorway...... *Yawn*
Still haven't let "south beach" go my ninja?
please give it up!!!
unique, creative, but doesn't really work for me, to each his own though...
I'm sorry, but I have to disagree that it's unique or creative. The South Beach cw had to be THE most overused cw for customs of 2011, sooo I'd say creativity: 0, uniqueness: 0. Sidenote: These look hideous.
Doesn't look good on the Lebron 9..if anyone's gonna custom these shits, stick with the jordan V as a canvas..lol
Dude...fuck no.
quick somebody burn these
Stop it already...
E X A C T L Y #OVERKILL
