The New Year signifies new beginnings, and that doesn’t bode any more true for Miami Heat superstar LeBron James. LeBron James reportedly got engaged to long-time girlfriend Savannah Brinson over the New Years weekend during his New Years Eve/Birthday party; the two have been together since High School and have two children together, but with the ring on the finger, consider LeBron officially off the market. LeBron’s party was quite the star-studded affair as the entire Big Three as well as a number of celebrities were there to celebrate LeBron’s birthday bash, with live music provided by music legends Nas and Lauryn Hill. News of James’ engagement comes not much after the news of Michael Jordan’s engagement to girlfriend Yvette Prieto – perhaps LeBron is taking any opportunity to ‘Be Like Mike’.
