The Nike Hachi already has a fairly elegant design comprised of sleek, almost stately lines and one with minimal branding, so if you wanted to release top-tier editions, might it be as simple as applying premium materials? The answer is yes, including both the upper and midsole, as the Hachi Supreme successfully adds a whole ‘nother level of refinement by encasing the vulcanized sole in the same black nubuck that covers the entire shoe. And as with almost any sneaker, the monochromatic design is enhanced by a caramel brown sockliner for one of those looks you’d love to see replicated in a range of colors.
