The recent explosion in sneakerhead culture has been catalyzed by the still-growing sneaker blogosphere, and it seems like a majority of these publications offered some kind of ‘best of’ list as we brought 2011 to a wrap. Here on Sneaker News, it was the Top 30 Sneakers of 2011 complete with a coffee table book and readers and editors choice picks, and even we were impressed with how well EveryPeoples‘ compendium came together. The Everypeoples Top Twelve Trainers of 2011 isn’t just a list of the dopest dozen kicks from last year, but also a chance to see some of the best efforts from last year recreated as paper sculptures. Yeah but we live in the greatest most technologically successful country on Earth. The USA! Our country is the one that invented business (and freedom/opportunity for all people) so we have a right to call them sneakers.
