Nike LeBron 9 “Brightest Galaxy” Customs by Gourmet Kickz
July 16th, 2012 by Brendan Dunne | 17 comments

The whole ‘Galaxy’ theme as first established by Nike’s huge All-Star Game pack for 2012 has sort of taken the torch from the ‘South Beach’ palette as the go-to custom colorway. Since the release of the original set we’ve seen a handful of homemade sneaker creators interpret the design in their own way, at times applying a bit more of a starry look to models like the Nike LeBron 9. The latest to do that is the Nike LeBron 9 ‘Brightest Galaxy’ by Gourmet Kickz, a sneaker which opts for much more glow than the retail version of the LeBron 9 ‘Galaxy’, also ditching the orange palette in favor of this cold, spacey combo. Click through with us to see the newest Nike LeBron 9 custom from Gourmet and let us know in the comments below if you think they one-upped the released pair.

Whats up with the one check not glowing?
@ElliotMaytic I like the inside swoosh not glowing cuz wit all the glow flywire around it the swoosh stands out. if it glowed it prally wudnt look right
@BNF34 it looked to me like the one glowed and one didn't. I see that they both don't. I'm digging it too.
good work chef.
Needs a speckled mid sole and some kind of graphic on the black part of the tongue but besides that the shoe is fire
@usedbrain4sale Now we all know you can't be a nike footwear designer. That was a terrible suggestion lol. Why would you want to add more "speckles" when the entire graphic is emphasizing the galaxy? I think he did a good job keeping it SIMPLE and sticking with the black midsole, ROOKIE.
@Yung Nemo Could you ride this dudes jock any harder ? Your not going to get a discount on the shies by getting on your knees like that. Young lil dudes always coming out the mouth wrong. Don't you got some retros to camp out for...
