NikeStore Introduces “Save A Spot In Line” for High-Demand Releases

NikeStore Introduces “Save A Spot In Line” for High-Demand Releases

Nike Save A Spot In Line

The Nike folk are continuing to show that they’ve got their eye on how limited product is sold at both the online and instore levels. The latest change to their system is one that will impact the checkout process for coveted items on Nikestore. If you’re trying to purchase a high demand item, you may get hit with a message saying “WE SAVED YOU A SPOT IN LINE!”, which basically means “Do not refresh or close your page, you still have a chance at purchasing this pair so stick around and we’ll let you know if they’re sold out”. Presumably this system will put you as the next in the line to grab the shoe should someone else closeout or cancel their order. Click through with us to get the info straight from Nike and let us know if you like the update.

For select high-demand products, you may receive a message that states: “WE SAVED YOU A SPOT IN LINE!” after you click to add the product to your cart.

This message means you’re in line for the product but does not guarantee availability. Keep the window open and don’t refresh your screen. If you close the window, you lose your spot in line. Your wait time may vary.

If the product becomes available, it will be added to your cart and reserved for a brief period of time. We recommend checking out and completing your purchase right away.

If the product is not available, you will receive an “Out of Stock” message, which means the product has sold out.
