Li-Ning Way of Wade Encore “Gold Rush” – Releasing at SoleFly
The MIA (No pun intended) Li-Ning Way of Wade Encore will finally be releasing at a stateside sneaker shop this weekend. More specifically the “Gold Rush” colorway, that one celebrating the Heat’s most recent championship, is the one that will be up for grabs. SoleFly is the spot that will have them-they’ll be giving out raffle tickets all week that will give you a chance to purchase them for $250 if you’re lucky enough to win the raffle going down on August 24th, 8 PM at their South Miami location. See the flyer after the jump and let us know if you’re hoping that more sneaker spots end up with Li-Ning Way of Wade pairs soon.
Look at that smile. He's trying hard to force himself to like those shoes but looks disgusted by it.
I really like these joints I was going to actually buy them when ever they were going to release them but how they starting off with them finally coming to the US is a turn off. them making them limited smh. They already messing up with being a new company. I thought they were not going to be that much at least thats what I would have done to get a solid fan base.......
So by not allowing any releases which made the masses want them even more , these Li Ning dudes gonna drop a debut for 250 , make em limited , & cause hype and make everyone think they gotta have em .......and everyone is gonna fall for the okey doke
The company isn't new. It's been around in China for a while now. The company was doing pretty bad but somehow still one of the most popular sneaker brands in China. The acquisition of Dwyane Wade was seen as a move to catapult the company into the plus side of their earnings but it hasn't been the case. They don't have the facilities to manufactur the demand at this time and the company wants to take care and supply the demand in China first before coming to the states. The Chinese are a very loyal people and like to take care of their own. Not a smart business model but it is what it is. This is very possibly just a way for them to test the waters here in the states and depending on how this goes (which should obviously be very well) it could open up the doors to finally set releases to more shops and retailers across the states. I agree though that they're way expensive. I'm reconsidering now.
@StubbornSerb No you can call him 3 unless you want to be a salty faggot who probably knows nothing about sacrifice and basketball.
It wasn't that they weren't allowing American releases, they couldn't. Before Wade signed the company had recorded record losses. Literally lost millions more than what they made. They don't have the factories or man-power to supply the demand. I agree the $250 is a little ridiculous but we both know cats will bend over and drop their boxers willingly just to have these.
Can't front though, I seen them in person and had them in my hands and the quality is ridiculous. Nike and Jordan brand haven't put out a shoe in a long time with the quality that these have. Still, not $250 worth.
@BackWearinthe45 I actually wanted a few pairs for a while now. They looked nice but $250 is too much for these.
@Nonononononono $250 IS FUCKEN STUPID!! WHEN RETRO J'S ARE THE $160....AND LOOK AT DEEZ BULLSHITS.
@HYPEBEAST101 @StubbornSerb Big Wade fanboy, huh? Feel the need to stand up for him? Defend him? Who's the faggot? GTFO. Fact is, I wouldn't have cared until he started asking to be called "3". Fucking douche. Dude was a bigger liability than asset for the second ring. He's basically become an LBJ coat rider. Not that there's anything wrong with that...he's either the GOAT or #2 at worst.
