Thirty-two hopeful Nike LeBrons were hand-selected to take part in our Sneaker News March Madness Nike LeBron Tournament, and after weeks of voting, we’ve finally narrowed it down to one true champion. It wasn’t much of a surprise that the earlier models were the ones to exit early, because the Nike LeBron signature line didn’t take off until the era of Jason Petrie and Miami. As the field was narrowed down to sixteen, eight, four, and two, it was clear that the golden era of King James’ sneaker history is certainly post-Decision, and the final match-up was a perfect representation of this change. The LeBron 10 Cork, which signified LeBron’s greatest achievement as a Miami Heat, and the LeBron 8 South Beach, which served as a turning point in LeBron’s career, went head to head in the Final round, but only one can be called the winner. Before we reveal the victor, we’d like to thank all of our fans that participated during every round of voting, and your involvement is the sole reason why we can crown this sneaker as the King of LeBrons. Are you ready? The Sneaker News March Madness Nike LeBron Tournament Champion is…
Considered by many to be the favorite to win the tournament, the famous “South Beach” LeBron 8 steamrolled the competition en route to this hefty title. If you’re not familiar with this sneaker, not to worry because we’ve got a special feature on the shoe coming right up. In the meantime, get a quick summary of the entire bracket to see how the battles played out, and give us your thoughts on the South Beach 8 being the best Nike LeBron of all-time.
If they were a GR people would like them but they wouldn't win. I think sprites are cleaner, and mostly any 9 is better.
I think it should have been the Birthday 4's vs the South Beaches. But in the end the winner was rather obvious.
Figured... Not mad dat da preheats won since I love da 8s... But a lot of other Lebron could of been worthy... A lot of lebrons were left out offda bracket altogether... Nonetheless, im ok wit da results
It was kinda obvious from the start that they would have one. The corks shouldn't have made it this far though.
