It looks like the Nike Air Trainer Max ’91 Low release might actually be happening. The shoes showed up towards the top of the year in sample form, and have again popped up, perhaps suggesting that they’ve been given the greenlight for a retail release. If you’re wondering why all the Bo Jackson love this year, do keep in mind that 2014 marks the 25th anniversary of the first “Bo Knows” commercial from Nike airing. Browse additional imagery for these Bos below and keep in mind that the best way to know their release date is by sticking with us.

I simply don't remember these and I thought I was pretty well schooled on Nike Air Trainers.  The mid-cut with the crossover straps I remember and they've been retro'd at least once, but these must have been pretty obscure.
