The Nike KD V “What the KD” officially hit retailers today. Keep in mind that the number of retailers it did hit was pretty small, a factor that may or may not have caused folks to let them completely slip out of memory. Fortunately some more photos have surfaced, showing off the mash-up design a little better than any of slim previews we’ve seen to date. Get the look at the Nike KD V “What the KD” right after the jump and then check out the price tag on them from shantelsupergirl10 on eBay.

While Kevin Durant did get an Elite model this year, he’s still a little bit behind in terms of the other biggest athletes on Nike Basketball’s roster. How so? He’s yet to be given a lifestyle model, suggesting that he’s still gotta play the little brother role for a while. Anyways, back to the Nike KD V Elite, which comes back tomorrow in probably the most “OKC” looking combination to date. Continue reading to get a complete look at the sneakers and tell us if you’re gonna be picking up a pair at Nike Basketball retailers like Extra Butter. If so, see what’s already available for the Nike KD V Elite “Team Orange” on eBay.

The Air Jordan V “Black Grape” will release tomorrow, June 15th. The colorway will be the first one this year to stray from the original colorways as far as the Air Jordan V is concerned. Of course it doesn’t stray too terribly far, sporting the same purple and emerald combo of its OG counterpart while merely flipping out the white base for a black one. The resulting shoe is one that’s got quite a bit of buzz going, with many folks applauding them as a proper new-age take on a classic look. See the Air Jordan V “Black Grape” once more after the jump and watch for them in stores tomorrow like Sneaker Politics or right now on eBay.

New Balance seems more fit than any other sneaker imprint to lay claims to some classic American themes, given that they’re the only brand out here still producing footwear stateside. This year they’re doing so via the “American Rebel” Collection, a group that outfits some of their most prized Made in USA silhouettes with palettes inspired by classic car culture, leather jackets, motorcycles, and the like. Included in the group are the New Balance 1300, the New Balance 998, and the New Balance 996, with suede and mesh being the name of the game material-wise. Get a preview of the pairs included right after the jump and stay tuned to Sneaker News for a more in-depth look soon.

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick wants you to know that he’s pretty deep into the sneaker game. You should have already known that given his Nike connections, keep in mind that the man was one of a couple athletes to administer the Nike Air Max “Sunset Pack” scavenger hunt. As you can see, the group is indeed a very Nike INC leaning collection-there’s basketball models from the likes of Kevin Durant, a ton of Jordans, and a good number of retro trainer models-the last group probably making the most sense given his profession. Continue reading to see the group and tell us if you’re impressed with Colin Kaepernick’s collection.

mastermind JAPAN has another stoic, black and white sneaker collab in the works. This time around they’re in bed with adidas, taking on a treasured runner of old in the form of the adidas Originals ZX500. Their skull and crossbones logo is applied pretty literally, as the lace lock is fashioned in the shape of a little black bone. Granted, we’ve seen bones on adidas sneaks before (Think Jeremy Scott) but this go-round ends up much more subtle. See the full shoes after the jump and watch for the mastermind x adidas Originals ZX500 to release soon.
