Nike recently re-released the ‘Raiders’ colorway of the Nike Air Trainer Huarache, the game-changing Nike Trainer shoe that served as the blueprint for the widely successful Zoom Huarache TR Mid. Of course, manufacturer quality is always a hot-button issue with Nike Retro releases, and with Nike trying to maximize its dollar while being environment friendly, there will certainly be noticeable differences as the years go by. Here’s an interested side-by-side comparison between the 2011 and 2001 Retro releases of the Air Huarache Trainer; even through these pictures, the texture of the materials and shades of color have clear discrepancies, but determining which of the two is better is up for debate.
