A Detailed Look at the Nike Flyknit Chukka FSB “Charcoal”

nike flyknit chukka fsb charcoal detailed look 01 A Detailed Look at the Nike Flyknit Chukka FSB Charcoal

Flyknits for winter? Unless they’re featured on the basketball court as in the Nike Kobe 9 Elite, wearing them as a winter boot didn’t seem all that likely in past years. That was before we were introduced to the Nike Flyknit Chukka FSB, a sneaker that’s comfortable with outfitting the silhouette in a bulkier, more supportive knit while tape like support can be found on the toebox and heel. This Flyknit Chukka FSB defies usual rules of the flyknit school of reasoning – it ditches a flashy colorway to showcase the material, and instead of a lunar or free outsole, we get a boot ready finish. What do you think? We’re still waiting for a stateside release date, but you can grab more photos courtesy of Suppa after the click.

It didn’t take too long for the Three Stripes to realize that the success of the initial adidas Originals ZX Flux warranted a sequel. The second iteration in the adidas ZX Flux 2.0 has since furthered itself from the original ZX tooling thanks to ditching the heel support native to the running line (but don’t worry, that outsole still remains). Instead the focus here is on the three stripe overlay while an interesting mesh construction stands out more than ever thanks to the red base. Still no word yet on a release date, but you can check out more photos after the click.

Between the Jacquard and No-Sew tendencies, we rarely see the Nike Air Max 95 in its original form featuring the wavy layered stitching that made the the shoe so iconic. Sure, there’s the occasional offering from air max powerhouse JD Sports, but for those stateside, there’s still a void to fill. The latest pair features a blue gradient on the side panels while a black base helps the Catalina and Hyper Cobalt pop throughout. What do you think? Check  back with us in the future to see when this pair will release stateside, but just incase you can’t wait, know that you can grab your size from international spots like Caliroots.

The original colorway releases of the Nike Air Max 93 have been rather sporadic with both the “Menthol” and “Bright Citrus” pairs arriving unexpectedly to stateside retailers after lingering just out of reach overseas. Now Tinker’s creation seems content with shedding its skin and getting a few revamped looks for fall as this Bamboo-based pair, a casual contendor for a place in your closet. Violet Force and Team Red add bright flashes on the dynamic fit tongue to contrast. What do you think? More images after the break.

reebok brings back dee brown d time pump 01 Reebok Brings Back Dee Browns D Time Pump

The list of players with their own signature sneaker in the NBA is a rather short one today, but back in the 90s, Dee Brown’s legendary no-look dunk in the Slam Dunk Contest was enough to warrant a shoe featuring his name on it in the Reebok D-Time Pump. The shoe maintained that ubiquitous orange pump on the tongue, but where as the Omni Lites grabbed your attention with clean lines on a sleek leather upper, this pair featured the vector on the side panels while an underlay featured checkerboard stitching for a louder look. And where does the D-Dunkman logo on the heel rank among forgotten signature athlete logos? Hit the click for more images and know that the Reebok Pump D-Time will be available at select spots like Millennium Shoes.
