The Nike KD V “N7″ will release on April 13th, 2013. After staying quiet for quite some time, the official info on the Native American inspired sneaker has finally arrived. And this time around it’s not a Nike exclusive, as Foot Locker has joined as a partner in launching the new N7 collection. Kevin Durant won’t be the only athlete involved either, as the wider Nike N7 collection also includes the “Dragon Fly” tee inspired by Boston Red Sox center-fielder Jacoby Ellsbury (The first Nike N7 ambassador and the first major leaguer of Navajo descent). Last week we filled you in on two special PE colorways of the Air Jordan XX8 that would be worn by Oak Hill Academy and Montrose Christian during their Quarterfinal match-up in the National High School Invitational. It appears that those special editions have hit retail shelves, marking the first graphic-print Air Jordan XX8 to release to the public. Featuring a wild print on the upper and a white inner lining and a black inner bootie, this Air Jordan XX8 might be the closest Chicago Bulls colorway we’ve seen yet, but there’s certainly more Air Jordan XX8 concepts to arrive in the future! Adding just a bit more color to the upcoming adidas Crazyquick line is this latest preview. Included are the black/lead and the electricity colorways that our readers have already had a glance at, along with a couple blue based pairs to round things out. Of course the adidas Crazyquick is a sneaker that can very much stand on the merits of its tech (It’s the most tested adidas basketball sneaker ever mind you), but that doesn’t mean the sneaker shouldn’t be able to have a little fun color wise. The adidas Rose 3.5 continues to spin the myth of Derrick Rose, using everything from his hometown spots to his personal approach to the game of basketball in its various story-telling type colorways. This new one is a bleak gun-metal grey affair that reflects Rose’ tough as nails persona on the court (One that we will hopefully see return sooner rather than later). There comes a point where one’s sneaker collection begins to take up an unwieldy amount of space. Once you get up to a couple hundred, close space is definitely out of the question, and whole rooms become occupied with footwear relics of years past. While the inline Asics Gel Lyte III stuff has been strong enough as of late in terms of the colors used, the group has been a little tame with respect to the decision to put on any sort of patterns. Finally breaking that spell are a couple of crazy colorways, one that tucks in what appears to be some traditional Chinese style art in and one that goes for a sort of Native American geometric design.
