nike roshe run military blue available 01 570x425 Nike Roshe Run Military Blue Available

The latest Nike Roshe Run to hit us with that split midsole look is one whose primary pigment reaches back to the very early days of Nike branding their color codes. This new Military Blue edition reaches back to the summer of 1989 with that namesake original Air Jordan IV, and this one has a fair share of 1990s dog days thanks to the Sprite effect from the Turbo Green and Summit White sole. So this colorway of today’s hottest lifestyle shoe at least in terms of coloring can be seen to borrow from the past, and it’s available now at shops like Politics.

The adidas Originals ZX 8000 has been one of the hottest shoes of the year, and you might not even know it.  The ZX 8000′s biggest impact on 2014 so far has been the use of its familiar sole kit on the popular ZX Flux, but we’ve also had a couple of new drops including that inverted 25th anniversary edition.  This new pair pictured above has a fairly timeless appeal with its grey and white build adding select orange hits, so click in for a closer look, then cop yours at shops like Caliroots.

nike air force 1 low gradient swoosh yellow purple 04 570x412 Nike Air Force 1 Low Gradient Swoosh

Gradient Swoosh styles of the Nike Air Force 1 have been around for a while now, and certain among them definitely rank pretty highly in terms of coveted Uptowns (We’ll cite the “Taiwan” as the pinnacle of that styling). That approach will see a small reprisal via pairs like this, which actually have a little bit more going on that just the unique Swoosh. If you look closely, you’ll also spot some faux lizard skin styling that’s got an almost Jordan 2 vibe to it. See more angles on them after the break and watch for this Nike Air Force 1 Low to hit soon at accounts like Oneness.

The second delivery of Nike Air Pegasus 83s for 2014 is now commencing.  The first one we’re seeing is this Light Crimson pair, which is the one of the family including Bright and Laser shades that actually looks the most like the color associated with Harvard, et al.  Gym Red comes in on the Swooshes for a tonal effect, but it’s really the turquoise tongue tag and midsole wedge that defines the final look.  Click in for a closer view, then cop yours at shops like Politics.

vans vault og classics summer 2014 01 570x399 Vans Vault OG Classics for Summer 2014

About a week ago, one of Off the Wall’s California neighbors was the first to announce they had stock of a new set of Vans Vault Sk8-His.  These pairs were united in their use of a horizontal pinstripe side panel, and as it turns out, they together only represent half of a larger pack.  Interestingly enough, the Old Skool LXes that make up the other half (referred to as OG Style 36s here) skip that striped look entirely, but instead find a common ground with vintage coloring.  Click in to see all four pairs, then find yours at Vans Vault stockists.

reebok insta pump fury y2k 01 570x425 Reebok Insta Pump Fury Y2K

If the Reebok Insta Pump Fury isn’t the Gazelle brand’s single most popular shoe of all time, it still might be the one with the most recognizable colorways.  It all started with originals like the ‘Firecracker Red’ aka ‘Citron’ and ‘Tricolore’ makeups, and there have been a select few that over the years have joined this elevated canon.  Like the ‘Jackie Chan’ pair we just examined, this ‘Y2K’ edition as pictured above is one of those, a style that came out around the turn of the millennium and has since been reprised on the HLS Pump Fury.  You’ll have a chance at it in OG form shortly as they’re currently selling over in Japan, so click in for a closer look and let us know which is your favorite Insta Pump Fury ever.

nike roshe run anthracite available 01 570x425 Nike Roshe Run Anthracite Available

About three weeks ago, we got our first look at a new type of mesh on the Nike Roshe Run. This style swapped out the original mesh that’s the standard for this shoe and switched to one that could accommodate more layering. In turn, the color placed as the base layer for these pairs’ toes extend down onto a new style of split midsole, pictured here in Anthracite with an unnamed red color out in front. Click in to see how the Venom Green loops really set this style off, then cop yours from shops like Politics.
