nike flyknit chukka fsb unreleased khaki sample 01 Nike Flyknit Chukka FSB Unreleased Khaki Sample

The Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics came equipped with a signature swoosh model in the Nike Flyknit Trainer Chukka FSB this past winter. The medal stand sneaker wasn’t as memorable as the Nike Flyknit Trainer from the 2012 games, but when are the winter games ever as noteworthy as summer’s? The shoe did offer us an alternative to bulky boots in winter though, featuring a rugged bottom that was made available in that signature black and volt look. Today we get a look at what could’ve been, as this unreleased khaki sample featuring an interesting ribbon pattern on the heel that would’ve made for a nice alternative. What do you think? Grab a better look after the click and pick up a pair via mrod9515 on eBay.

The Air Jordan 1 Mid has been a near year-round release for Jordan Brand, barring the inevitable hiatus during the early months of summer. The shoe’s most successful time has got to be fall, but lately we’ve been blessed with a number of Air Jordan 1 Retro High OGs, so the pair serves as a respectable alternate to the classic ‘Nike Air’ branded counterpart. Remember this Gym Red pair previewed from a few international spots in late July? It’s finally arrived at retailers stateside, so hit the click for more images of this Air Jordan 1 Mid and know that you can reserve your size today from Extra Butter.

adidas ZX Flux “Painted Floral”

September 10th, 2014 by | 3 comments

adidas zx flux painted floral adidas ZX Flux Painted Floral

The adidas ZX Flux has had no shortage of floral looks to date, but it’s apparently got more to come. Next up for the shoe is this pair, which has got sort of a painted vibe to go with the flowery graphics here to give it a bit more of an artsy feel than those photo-realistic pairs. The bad news is that this is another of the myriad Fluxes to have only shown up in Europe so far. You can stare at them below the break and you can even try to order them from Footlocker if you feel like you can’t live without the flower Flux.

Asics Gel Saga – Grey – Purple

asics gel saga grey purple 1 Asics Gel Saga Grey Purple

For those retro runner fans that weren’t necessarily into the split tongue style of the Asics Gel Lyte III, the Asics Gel Saga has been a go-to running silhouette turned casual staple for some time. And while the pair won’t see nearly as many collaborative efforts as its counterparts, the famed 1990 model can at least claim that some upcoming in-house colorways will hold us over for the time leading up to the holidays. Here we see a cool grey and purple work together for an aesthetic that wouldn’t be that far from something we’d see when the shoe first released at the turn into the 90s. Grab a better view after the click and pick up a pair from international spots like Foot Patrol.

Does this Nike Air Max 95 look familiar? If we had to trace their lineage back anywhere, we’d say they’ve got a little in common with the classic atmos x Nike Air Max 95 creation that used a similar mixture of tonal tans and browns. This time around the shoes have some more color though – the tongue and bubble go blue to add sort of an oasis to the sand dune palette. Have another glance at these Air Maxes after the click and then head to Size? to get your pair now.

tailwind violet grey Nike Air Tailwind Violet Grey

The Nike Air Max 1 was the first shoe to expose its Air cushioning, but the Nike Air Tailwind was the first sneaker to ever show up with that Frank Rudy system in place. Believe it or not they’re still going strong today – there was a retro rollout a couple of years ago that helped a new generation get familiar with the silhouette and there’s been a slow but steady stream since then. Latest for the revolutionary shoe is this violet force and anthracite combination, which is available now from Size?. Head there to purchase after you check out the rest of the photos for them waiting below.
