2012 marks the 23rd Anniversary for the Air Jordan IV, so a special release for one particular sector of Jordan fanatics had to be made! This Girls-only colorway of the Air Jordan IV hits stores tomorrow, featuring a tonal Voltage Cherry upper with Black accents on the lacewings and outsole. The guys certainly had their eyes glued to them when 106 & Park host Rocsi salsa-danced in them in a friendly battle against Superbowl Champ Victor Cruz, and the ladies got clear confirmation that these are in fact a must-have sneaker. Tomorrow will be a monster day of releases and the Voltage Cherry IVs are one reason why that is, so be sure to cop these at Jordan Brand retailers like Moe’s Sneaker Spot or cop a pair right now on eBay.

Most superhero sagas begin with some kind of childhood drama, and it could be anything from slaughtered parents to radioactive exposure or genetic variance. Would the same apply if a kid were met with an emotional watershed moment that was overwhelmingly positive? Because if so, we’d better put measures in place for how to deal with a bunch of slam-dunking supermen in about twenty years. The Nike LeBron 9 ‘Dunkman’ TD is sure to put a smile on your face as you lace up your little sneakerhead, its tonal grey/black and Volt colorway right in the intersection of mainstream trends and childish playfulness. This is the first time in a good while that we’re seeing the ‘Dunkman’ motif on a toddler-sized Nike LeBron signature; will it also be the first time you share this recurring theme’s ‘powers’ with your youngster(s)? Let us know when you click through to see more angles, and get ready for the whole family to suit up like the Dunkman on March 2nd. via The Closet Collectors

The word has been out for a while now that 2012 will be a big year for the Air Jordan IV. Who knew that the heavy retro treatment would trickle down so steadily to the GS category though? Between the recently unveiled ‘Ultraviolet’ colorway and the Air Jordan IV GS ‘Voltage Cherry’ shown here, the young ones have a decent duo of colorways exclusive to them. Featuring the familiar ‘For the Love of the Game’ logo hit towards the heel, these will definitely be a standout from the sea of rosy red kicks on their way for the month of February. Follow us after the jump to get a better look at this Air Jordan IV GS, which will hit Jordan Brand retailers like Atlanta Got Sole this Saturday, February 4th.

This past weekend’s Air Jordan X Retro ‘Chicago’ release was accompanied by a similarly blocked GS pair that opted for Violet Pop and Cyber accents instead of the traditional red-on-black look. Pictured above is another model with those same accent hits, but one with no counterpart for male sneakerheads as graphical design of this Air Jordan 1 Phat GS sees its only replication on an earlier pair that was arguably even more feminine in black and pink. This Lakers-leaning colorup is an orange lace away from some Dia de los Muertos appeal, but you won’t have to wait until October for this high energy release. Check them out in greater detail after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for word on these arriving at US retailers. via mita sneakers

The winter tradeshow season is bringing us a look at what to expect from the major sneaker manufacturers during the second half of the year, and when it comes to Jeremy Scott’s adidas Originals by Originals capsule, we already know from the jump we’re getting something wacky. And while these might not capture attention in the same way that the upcoming ‘tie-dye’ JS Teddy Bear will with its ostentatious yellow build, this new Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals JS Wings is indeed one of the bolder looks he’s dropped with Three Stripes. They’re vaguely reminiscent of the 2NE1 collabo, but the addition of bold black lines throughout their soft fleece uppers has these looking like a product tie-in for that new Jet Set Radio game for which fans have been waiting over a decade. But you won’t have to wait that long for these new JS Wings, as the preview at Bread & Butter Berlin suggests these are a fall 2012 release. Just one hour ago we gave you a reminder of tomorrow’s release of the Air Jordan X ‘Chicago’ – Michael’s ‘comeback’ shoe in 1995. If you’ve got smaller feet and are looking for something a bit different, the kids colorway of Violet Pop will also hit stores tomorrow; it features a Cyber Green and Black checkered lining with Violet Pop on the outsole, with a first-time hit of patent leather on the upper. You can find these tomorrow at Jordan Brand retailers like Extra Butter or lock in your pair right now on eBay.

It’s all about the Chicago Madness for January 2012 Air Jordan Retro releases, but for the tiny-footed Jordan-heads, don’t overlook at the ‘Violet Pop’ colorway, that is now confirmed for a release on January 21st. Boasting the sublime AJX classic silhouette with its own distinct new features like patent leather and mesh along the ankle and mid-foot of the shoe, the Air Jordan X GS ‘Violet’ is somewhat of a throwback to a WMNS colorway that dropped a few years back – the Medium Violet of 2005. Also hitting stores around that time was the ‘Ice Green’, which has us wondering if more WMNS/GS Air Jordan X releases are on the way. In any case, keep January 21st (two Saturdays from now) circled on your calendars, because that’s when Jordan Brand retailers will officially drop this highly-anticipated item.

When it comes to a model as well established, widely revered and thoroughly covered as next month’s Air Jordan 4 Retro ‘White Cement’ release, we’ve reached a point five weeks before the drop where the last relevant question might be, “What more can [we] say?” As in top billing, for a shoe that’s been overshadowed by its immediate sequel of late, but finally gets its chance in the spotlight 23 years after the original and another thirteen after the most recent retro. In fact, these haven’t been out so long that the last pairs featured the coveted ‘NIKE AIR’ designation on their heels, so there’s no single shoe that’s going to draw more attention in the first quarter of 2012 now that the wait is finally over. Click through to see more of the GS-sized AJ4 ‘Cement’ after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for updates in advance of the February 18th release date. via AGS

The Year of the Dragon begins on January 23rd and marks the earliest celebration of Chinese New Year since 1965. But in the sneakerhead world, the Water Dragon has made his mark well in advance of even the Gregorian calendar flip, starting all the way back in September when we first laid eyes on the LeBron 9 ‘China’. Zoom KD IV and Air Jordan 2012 colorways have popped up in the meantime, and it’d be a wise investment to wager on an Air Force 1 Low joining the fray, but today’s news is a kids-sized edition of the AF1′s biggest rival in the Nike Sportswear classics lineup. The Nike Dunk Low GS ‘Year of the Dragon’ loses the blue watery tones and instead opts for a black, red and gold colorup with lizard detailing on the overlay whose overall effect is both reptillian and reflects its country of origin. ’2012′ heel embroidery and a wicked dragon insole make these an interesting possibility for thsoe who can fit them, and you’ll see a series of detailed images when you click through on the jump below. via Ice Field

If there ever was a pair of Dunks that were for the kids then this is it. Coming with a whimsical look, this GS drop brings the spotted pattern in a fuzzy material that hearkens back to the 3′s Bears Nike SB releases. There’s plenty of the orthodox leather treatment to keep these from going too overboard, but we wouldn’t go so far as to say they’ll make your little ones blend in with a crowd. The only question left for these is which, if any, storybook creature are they meant to represent? A monster out of Where the Wild Things Are? A Dr. Suess creation? Let us know if you have a hunch in the comments below and stick with Sneaker News for info on a US release. via atmos
