The sneaker comes in an immaculate gold as a nod to the championship trophy earned (Not given) by LBJ and his cohorts. You had to assume a “Heat” colorway was coming sooner or later for the Nike LeBron XI. Sure enough, the next colorway that we’ve spotted is this, which dons red for the Armorposite plating and black for the rest of the upper. The past couple pillars of the LeBron line have had a little spot on the sneaker reserved for telling the story of the particular colorway, a detail we’ve yet to see emerge on the Nike LeBron XI. Stay tuned as more design details are revealed that might further solidified the “Heat” connection and tell us if you’re feeling this Nike LeBron XI in the comments.

You are looking at the Nike LeBron XI. That’s right-the mystery shoe that was spotted on the feet of King James over the weekend was indeed his next signature model. The design comes equipped with a pretty sizable chunk of what’s being called “Armorposite” material across the upper, which clutches the shoe from the bottom up in the same way that the carbon fiber piece on the current Nike LeBron X Elite does. On top of that Dynamic Flywire returns with a bit more of a conspicuous arrangement as just the lace-loops and a few wires revealed.
You’ll also note that the sneaker gets rid of the full length Vis Zoom treatment across the bottom, opting instead to tuck away any Air it’s holding. Speaking of cushioning, it’s said that the Nike LeBron XI will be cushioned by a mix of Lunarlon and Zoom, embedded into the midsole of the shoe; this is an interesting move considering visible cushioning has been a visual key over the last four models, leading some to believe that the shoes LeBron did indeed break out during a weekend practice were either a Soldier or Ambassador shoe. In any case, these are the real deal LeBron XI, and is currently slated for an October debut for $200 in five colorways. Continue reading to check out another upcoming colorway of the Nike LeBron XI and stick with us for what should be an October 2013 release.

Could this be the Nike LeBron XI? Nike is a few months away from revealing the eleventh signature sneaker in the Nike LeBron saga, but during a recent team practice, LeBron James was spotted wearing an all-black sneaker that at this point, remains unidentified. Could it be a wear-test sample of the Nike LeBron XI, which is currently set for an October 2013 debut, a new spin on one of LeBron’s take-down models like the Soldier or Ambassador line, or is it the actual Nike LeBron 11? The design itself looks as chiseled as ever, with the monotone black colorway giving it a “Tumbler” look. There’s no confirming at this point, but it’s definitely something to think about with the new LeBron signature shoe being set to debut later this year. We’ve got more photos below so take a look and get the comments rolling in!

Next week will see the release of another Nike LeBron X Elite colorway. The pair will get back to the wild precedent set by the initial “Superhero” joints, a precedent that was dialed back a bit thanks to the second, white/metallic gold look. The sneaker is one we’ve seen on the feet of LeBron James once or twice, despite the sport turquoise/volt/violet force not coming anywhere close to lining up with his Heat uniform. See more on this Nike LeBron X Elite after the jump and then grab a pair ahead of schedule from kicksclusive on eBay.
