Supra Vaider - Silver Suede

With the yellow Supra Vaiders being profiled just a few days ago, a new colorway has just been released.  This clean, stylish sneaker is definitely a must-have for the fashion-minded, with its flashy design and well-fitting silver colorway.  It is undoubtedly an eye-catcher and will smartly accentuate any outfit.  Unlike the yellow versions, suede is used on the accents of the uppers, rather than patent leather.  These sneakers are now available at Factory 413 in Los Angeles, CA. via High Snobiety

Supra Vaider - Yellow Patent Leather

Although a skate brand, Supra sneakers aren’t usually the shoes of choice for the typical skater, more seen on the feet of fashion and style enthusiasts.  The company has always been known for their flashy designs and colors, as seen on this yellow Supra Vaider.  The sneaker is bound to turn a few heads with its stylish combination of shiny patent leather and regular, perforated leather.  Not to take away from the technology of the shoe, a cushioning SupraFoam midsole is featured along with a durable vulcanized sole.  Also, the high cut ankle provides for great support, potentially preventing injury.  There is no word yet on when these sneakers will be releasing. via Sneaker Freaker

Nike SB Zoom P-Rod 3 Wear Test Samples

Recently we caught a few photos of Paul Rodriguez doing every skaters favorite task, setting up a new complete. However Paul was accomplishing this feat in ultimate style wearing what seems to be a test wear version of his newest Signature shoe. The shoes seem to have very similar theory to the P-Rod 2. The most apparent changes are a new lacing system and a less padded tongue. Sneaker Freaker recently held an interview with Paul Rodriguez where he mentioned the shoes are slated for a Summer 2009 release, however we may still see some changes to the model before they hit the streets. Nike SB Zoom J-Rod 2 High Elephant Print

Years ago Nike SB made the controversial release of the original J-Rods for their marquee skater, Paul Rodriguez to wear in the 2006 X-Games. The J-Rod Ones were P-Rods first signature model in a special make up. The shoes were said to be designed by the legendary Jordan Brand designer Tinker Hatfield and featured several Jordanesque attributes including the Jumpman logo, Elephant Print, as well as an overall Chicago Bulls themed color way. However, later it was rumored that Jordan Brand was upset with the Nike SB release due to the unauthorized use of their Jumpman logo and that this would never happen again. However we did happen to see a Jordanesque P-Rod 2 low, and now for the 2008 X-Games we have an Elephant Print P-Rod 2 High. The shoes also feature the classic Jordan Elephant Print with a Chicago Bulls inspired color way. This time around we feature the shoe in the brand new silhouette of the P-Rod 2 High. The P-Rod 2 high features all todays top technology you would come to expect from Nike Pro Signature shoe, with the comfort of a Nike SB Dunk High. Be on the look out for these to hit your nearest Nike SB dealer in August right around the time the 2008 X-Games push off. Via RMK Store

Vans Rowley Special

Vans pro rider Geoff Rowley just got his newest signature model dubbed the ‘Rowley Special’. The shoe features a wider fit, with more toe room, and boasts more comfort. This is Geoffs eleventh signature shoe on the brand in the last nine years . The shoe has been tested and perfected by Geoff Rowley to withstand rigorous skateboarding abuse, all while maintaining a timeless style. It is inspired from a cult classic skate shoe, the Vans ‘Lampin’ which debuted in the early 90s when many skaters preferred Puma Clydes or Adidas Campus. The shoe improves on the original ‘Lampin’ design by improving the upper with reinforced suede. The Geoff Rowley Special also features a slimmer profile and the undeniable classic Vans vulcanized waffle sole for ultimate flexibility and grip.
