Star Wars mania helped to pave the way for modern sneakerhead culture. We don’t mean to forget about baseball cards or other types of action figures, it’s just that hardcore Star Wars fans are so passionate about keeping their stuff ‘deadstock’ that there’s an obvious carryover (The Cool Kids, anyone?). Now that Jeff Staple has just turned in his second Star Trek-inspired Pack of Airwalks (please, for the love of the Force, do not confuse the two!), we’re finally getting our first glimpse at adidas’ upcoming Star Wars collection. This pair of what looks to be Top Ten His is modeled after Princess Leia’s unforgettable golden ’slave’ bikini. Get ready to add these to your size 10 Jedis and check out more photos after the jump. via nitro:licious

Pretty much everybody is happy about all the Air Jordan XII Retros this holiday season (well, probably not adidas). Here’s a new Nike Blazer High for women that uses a ’sunray’ stitch just like the Twelve. These use a black leather base and add gold stitches. The Swooshes are metallic, so when you see how the stitching doubles up around the old school ‘NIKE’ heel tab, you might think of bike spokes. Toss in a cricket emrbroidery on the tongue tag and this is quite a unique take on a classic design. Available from Shaolin8 on eBay.

Here is a new style being released from Nike Sportswear in Spring 2010 for both men and women, the Nike Huarache Dance Low. The basic silhouette seems like a cross between the original Huarache and a Nike Court Force. There is a wide array of materials used for these, both natural and synthetic. These Huarache Dance Lows boast leather, neoprene, perforated suede and patent leather uppers that are ideal for comfort and flexibility, which all sit on a rubber midsole and outsole similar to the sole of the Nike Court Force. Keep reading after the jump for a look at all the upcoming Spring 2010 colorways and thanks to Shoeniverse for the pics.”

Yesterday we gave you a look at half of the Nike Valentines Day Pack. Here Is the other half, a pair of women’s Nike Vandals that get the same treatment as the Court Forces. The upper consists of white leather with a plaid toe box and side panels with a purple and red strap. There is also a strip of back patent leather that follows the stitching all over the shoe from the toe to the lace holes. Again the design elements that make up these Vandals is a more minimal approach to the Valentines Day theme and is executed nicely. Look for these to hit stores in time for February 14th festivities. We all know that for certain Holidays we can always expect a themed sneaker to drop. As far as Valentines day goes, sneaker designs are a dime a dozen and the red and pink designs with a heart slapped somewhere seem to be a bit too cliché. These women’s Nike Court Forces included in the Valentines Day Pack take a different approach and use small details to execute the Holidsay’s theme. These Court Forces feature a plaid heel panel and patent leather side panels with a heart perforation detail. The upper consists of leather and patent leather with some purple accents, and sit on top of a white midsole and red outsole. Via guillotine

It’s crazy to think we’ve seen less than ten Nike Court Force releases this year. There have probably been a few more than that in total, but even doubling that figure leaves a huge gap when compared to oft-dropped designs like the Dunk and especially this year, the Blazer. This new trio of simply colourblocked kicks follows another trend in Court Forces for oh-nine: they’re made for the ladies. Pairs in tonal blues/grey/white, black/grey/white with red accents and the white/yellow/blue joints pictured above. Cop them all from Nike Sportswear retailers like mita sneakers.
