As of late, women have been getting some really strong concepts and colorways as far as sneaker releases. Here we see Reebok trying to up the ante with an entire collection concept specifically for the ladies. Using Greek mythology as a foundation, a pack of three Reebok Freestyles taken on some famous Greek Goddesses for design foundations. First off is Medusa; one of the more recognized persons from Greek Myths. The upper takes on a stoney look, to represent the outcome of looking into her eyes. The heel ankle collars get a snakeskin treatment, which perfectly suit Medusa’s snake hair because of the shape of the padding.
Secondly you’ll see a pair of Freestyles that draw inspiration from Callisto. Turned into a bear because of a love triangle, she later killed and reborn as the constellation Ursa Major, better known as The Big Dipper. Hence the pitch black leather upper with constellation patterns.
And lastly, Athena, the daughter of Zeus. Mostly synonymous with her shield and helmet, its fitting to see the colorway use a bronzy armor look, with an actual shield graphic on the heel. Athena’s trusty owl gets some shine with feather graphics along almost the entire forefoot of the shoe. These won’t be out for a while as they are part of Reebok’s Fall/Winter collection. via Provider.

Another electric colorway of the Nike WMNS Air Force 1 High comes our way; this new pair of the Air Force 1 High for women features a simple color-construction of a black upper and secondary trim of neon green. You might’ve seen this colorway not too long ago, as Sneaker News reported a Nike WMNS Dunk Low using the same color combo in reversed fashion. It’s also the colorway of a Nike Dunk Low SB that took on the same colorblocking as the Jordan Pack SB Dunk, but it was never released, much to the disappointed of SB fans. This latest colorway of the Nike WMNS Air Force 1 have started to hit Nike retailers soon, so check out your local spots.

We’ve seen Nike do the Rock N’ Roll thing plenty of times for adults’ Terminators and Vandals. Just the other day we gave a glimpse on a studded Vandal for kids. But now the rocker theme as finally moved onto another model, this time the rising star of the Big Nike High. While the grommets are layed upon the toebox and Swoosh, the overall design is unique with its new rocker black/silver colorway. What’s also new to the concept is the use of patent leather on the heel rand. While it’s already available overseas, like Limited Edt, it’s expected to drop in the US soon. Stay tuned.

It’s been quite a while since the Air Jordan VII-like Air Jordan True Flight released in a new colourway. This new pair is strictly for the little ladies, as the pink on white design assures that no GS-sized boys would wanna get cooties from wearing them. Where there’s enough evidence, it’s easy for a jury to make a unanimous decision; Based on the recent Nike 6.0 put-outs, we can conclude with alarming ease that the group behind Nike 6.0 is no longer second rate to Nike SB. In fact, 6.0 is poised to take over twenty-ten – one reason being this absolutely ridiculous upcoming pair of the Nike WMNS Dunk High in a red denim upper. The distressed coloring of the swoosh and ankle and use of workboot laces is proof enough that Nike 6.0 got their hands dirty and put serious effort in their products. This is already the third 6.0 Dunk High of 2010 worth copping – yesterday’s Nike Dunk High Brown Denim and the Nike WMNS Dunk High Grey Fleece are the other two. Keep your ear to the ground and watch for these to his 6.0 accounts soon.

It’s clear Nike 6.0 Dunks have improved in quality, but are they also becoming ‘just’ another Nike SB? Survey says, ‘Naw,’ cos SB doesn’t designate WMNS sizes (1.5 sizes up, if guys are interested), and that’s how both of these are labeled. The lowtop you see above mixes a range of colours, but as we see more often lately, the mass of mostly-neutral base colours helps super bright shades cohabitate in harmony. The Nike 6.0 Dunk High you’ll see after the jump is even crazier, both in its palette, and the use of a translucent patterned side panel. Get your Nike Six fix from Extra Butter.

Over the years, the Asics Gel Lyte III has become the Onitsuka Tiger’s most popular design. It’s dropped in a multitude of satisfying colourways, and the signature split tongue is ‘off’ just enough to get you some legit tips of the cap. With these pairs, it’d be more like, “Oooh, gurrrl!”, as both are specifically for ladies. Each has a bright and colourful palette, with one particularly Paas-looking pair just in time. Grab one or both of them today from Finish Line.

What’s better than one pack of kicks? A pack of kicks that contains two packs! However you want to divide these up, the Nike WMNS Air Force 1 Highs and Dunk Lows pictured above are still clearly following a pattern. Both AF1s and both Dunks are respectively colourblocked the same, and see their palette reversed on the opposite model. It’d be nice to get all four of them and since they all just hit at Nike Harajuku, and the Electric Green Dunks are available on eBay, we’ll keep you posted on a stateside release for the other three.

The Nike Blazer is a growing favorite of the ladies – remember Rihanna wearing Nike Blazers – and this newly released colourway should be a treat for the femmes with a penchant for bright tones. The upper features an interesting graphic – part TV static part Coogi sweater – and Safari print along the lace panel. The mix of purple and turbo green is grounded by yet another white vulcanized midsole with a purple front bumper. You can grab a pair from Wish or from eBay.

The Parra x Patta x Nike Air Max 1 is sure to be the hottest AM1 this month, but here’s another ‘87 that looks good with a quirky colourway. It’s not super common to see a shoe mix green, yellow and orange without looking overly silly, but these are done quite skillfully. Using muted colours for the vast majority of their design allows the bright accent points to shine without overshadowing the iconic silhouette. Guys, just add 1.5 sizes when you grab a pair from Shaolin8 on eBay.

St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner, so expecting a number of green colored kicks won’t be so far-fetched. Although this pair of the Nike WMNS Dunk Low don’t have ties to the beer-drenched holiday, any shade of green will work when stumbling from pub to pub on that day. This latest colourway of the Nike Dunk features an electric green upper with black on the center panel, bottom sole, and inner lining, with a white swoosh and midsole. You can grab your pair from 95soleman on eBay.

Just over a week ago we dropped some images of a Nike WMNS Air Max 90 that was met with a ton of praise. When it comes to basic color-blocking on ANY of the classic Air Max models, Nike is flat out unbeatable. The cool mint colourway deliver what its name suggest; a refreshing and casual colourway that carries on the unmistakeable color-blocking. Upon closer investigation, the swoosh is actually completely clear, grabbing the light-grey tone of the suede behind it. Finding a size 12 might be tough, but some good sizes are available for the ladies and those with smaller feet over at SNS.
