LeBron James’ annual signature sneaker count rose to five in the wake of his second MVP season in 2010, so wouldn’t it make complete sense for Nike Basketball’s biggest competitor to similarly expand their offerings endorsed by reigning Most Valuable Player, Derrick Rose? It certainly does, and that’s exactly what we’re seeing here with the first images of the upcomign adidas Rose 773. A model named after D-Rose’s own Chicago area code, the 773 rides the same outsole as the upcoming adiZero Rose 2.5 but sees its upper altered away from the SprintSkin look, toward a more traditional perforated leather.
